At Flow in Design Inc. we are constantly researching green alternative solutions when considering design and construction aspects of our projects. To reduce negative impact of refurbishment projects on the environment, we promote to our clients the following sustainable practices:

• Use energy efficient lighting with CFL or LED lamping solutions
• Evaluate existing spaces and use green products for replacement of interior finishes
• Use of low VOC paints, stains and adhesives
• Review Air Quality Control Measures during construction
• Review of construction method and materials with Contractors and Building Managers to minimize harmful effects of construction on people and the building indoor environment
• Review Site Management practices with Contractors and Building Managers and promote recycling and/ or salvaging of unused materials such as, but not limited to:
  • carpet
  • vinyl wall coverings
  • light fixtures
